What Margin is made of.

The stack.Next.js 16 and React 19 on Vercel, Drizzle over Neon Postgres, Better Auth. The widget is a 35 KB shadow-DOM bundle with its own trigger engine, so it carries no third-party tracking onto the pages it runs on. Feedback is embedded with Voyage, grouped by meaning (no model decides the grouping), and titled into Findings by Claude through a voice gate that will not let it rename what a person said.

Built with Claude.Margin was built with Cursor and Claude Code, and the honest version is the one the makers we admire keep repeating: it was less a code generator than a thought partner. We argued with it, it showed us the option we’d have missed, and we kept every decision.

We ran it on ourselves.We didn’t test Margin on a mock. We built a second, real app, Ledger, a tiny decision logger, shipped it, and pointed Margin at it for the whole thirty days. Every Finding in the demo came out of that loop. Every rough edge you might hit, we hit first.

Two rules we engineered, not just promised. A Finding never speaks louder than the number of people behind it. And we never rename how someone said something: you can read every verbatim reply behind every Finding, in their words, not ours.
