/ a full sample week
This is what a week of Margin looks like.
Sample week from Ledger — a tiny app for logging the decisions you make and how they turned out. Four things its users quietly got stuck on, in their own words, each with a direction you could ship on Monday. Your inbox fills the same way once Margin is live on yours.

acting on itI couldn't tell what counts as a decision worth logging.
margin asked
“Stuck on the blank page? What were you about to write down?”
“I opened the form and just stared at it. Is a decision like 'which database' or like 'what to have for lunch'? I didn't want to get it wrong.”
direction
Try pre-filling the blank form with one real example and a quiet 'too small? log it anyway' line.

openThe reflection step felt like homework, so I bailed.
margin asked
“Looked like you were heading out before saving — what stopped you?”
“Felt like a journaling app all of a sudden. I wanted to jot the call, not write an essay about it.”
direction
Try saving the decision on step one and making the reflection a 'come back to it' nudge, not a gate.

acting on itThe tag field fought me — was I making a tag or picking one?
margin asked
“That didn't seem to work. What were you trying to do there?”
“I typed 'hiring' and hit enter four times. Did it make a tag? Did it pick one? No idea, so I gave up on tags.”
direction
Try showing the existing tags on focus, and make Enter clearly either create or select — not both.

shippedThe reminder email brought me back, then the link was broken.
margin asked
“Something just broke opening that. What were you trying to get back to?”
“I came back specifically to update an outcome and the page just wouldn't load. Frustrating.”
direction
Looks like the nudge link still points at the old /decision path — try fixing it and falling back to the list.
